Thorbjørn Rasmussen joined LH Project Management in the summer of 2024 and will contribute to the development of specialist services, training employees and building customer relationships.
What made you come to LH Project Management?
“My role at LH Project Management is a mixed role that I myself have helped to define, and it is important that I myself have had so much influence on my function. I have always found it exciting to work in counseling. Creating new solutions, doing something better and making someone more skilled, I think brings value and is exciting. It has also been important for my election that Kim is very skilled and that he is in control of the projects and the economy.”
What are your expectations for working in a small business?
“I have tried many set-ups, right up to groups with 40,000 employees around the world. It can be some big machines to maneuver around. In a small set-up, you can get around the decisions fairly quickly. Now I have tried the very big companies, but I like the pioneer spirit and the focus that we have to build something up. There is also a high degree of freedom under responsibility, and I help to create my own professional and personal development and at the same time learn a lot from Kim and pass on my knowledge to new employees. I don't quite notice that it's a smaller company because we sit with RH Architects, so there are lots of colleagues.”
After all, you don't live just around the corner, so what does transportation mean to you?
“I live in Funen, but the location was also one of the reasons I was interested in the job. I have traveled a lot around the world and I enjoy being on the road, so the trip to Copenhagen does not feel too long compared to my many previous business trips to the US and Australia. I think the environment here in the middle of Copenhagen is really cool, and I take the train from Nyborg, and then I can walk the last five minutes from Central Station. I can work an hour each way on the train, and then there is flexibility so that I can also work from home.”
